Bangkok’s Nightlife Stage Shows

Whether you’re a single guy or a fun-loving couple, you’ll have a great time enjoying Bangkok’s fun, sexy stage shows. There’s something for everyone’s taste here, from exotic dancing, to fluorescent body painting, to spicy theatrical performances, and it’s all extraordinarily affordable, for just the price of a drink or two. The shows listed below are essentially sexy shows for straight folks, but you’re also welcome to visit Ladyboy shows and Boys shows, for something really different that you won’t find at home.

At Nana Entertainment Plaza (NEP) Sukhumvit Soi 4, a five-minute walk from the Nana BTS Skytrain station. GPS Coordinates: N13°44.492’, E100°33.187’

• Angelwitch, 2nd Floor of NEP, left side Angel Witch’s shows begin nightly at 10 pm, and are couples-friendly. The shows are well choreographed, with terrific costumes. Fifty revolving shows are in the ”playbook,” and are staged in groups of five in 15 minutes, with a fifteen minute break between stage shows, filled-in by regular Angelwitch dancers. • Hollywood Carousel, top floor, middle left side. Carousel’s shows are on revolving steel stages, with a built-in showerhead for “wet” shows, which include bubbles and ice. Shows change periodically, and include a wild circus sideshow act with fire eating and weight lifting via head-hair. Hostesses are friendly, and couples are welcome.

Soi Cowboy, between Sukhumvit Soi 21 and Sukhumvit Soi 23, is around the corner from the MRT subway/ BTS Asok Skytrain station. Lots of great food here, too, and don’t miss the funky and fun Old Dutch restaurant, at the corner of Soi 23 and Soi Cowboy.

• Long Gun Bar: Long Gun’s sexy show begins typically at 10:00 pm, and runs several times throughout the evening. Their agile performers faithfully recreate shows not usually seen in Bangkok these days, and open-mindedness on the part of the audience is recommended.
• Midnite Bar: Midnite’s high-energy lambada show features neat costumes in an icy, fun environment. 15-minute shows begin at 10 pm.
• Rawhide Bar: The best rock ’n roll leather and chains show we’ve seen, with great rock tunes, and a sudsy bubble show on the side. Rawhide’s dancers are extremely athletic, in one of the best shows on Soi Cowboy. Shows are 15 minutes long, and begin at 10 pm.
• Shebas Bar: Shebas’ spicy all-girl revue is legendary, and the 15-minute show runs several times nightly from 10:30 pm onward. Customers rave about the performers in one of the funnest shows on Soi Cowboy! The show is unique, but not for the easily offended, www.bangkokbarfun.com
