Located in south Chiang Mai near the Om Muang Road, Hatha and Kriya yoga are taught, along with meditation courses.

Here, you can take a one-month Vipissana course, which includes a three-day, no-sleep, meditation marathon.
Afterwards, you may participate in a ten-day meditation retreat.

Located 20 minutes northeast of Chiang Mai, this retreat offers many courses in meditation.
It is situated at the Tao Garden, which also offers a complete series of health spa offerings.

Wat Umong Suan Putthatham, Suthep Road, Soi Wat Umong, Chiang Mai.
Located 5 km southwest of the old city (turn south 1.5 km after entering westbound Suthep Road, then continue south for 2 km). This wat holds lectures in English every Sunday afternoon at 3pm.
Courses can be taken from individual monks; inquire at the Sunday talk.

Located 60 km southwest of Chiang Mai, this wat offers 21 day meditation courses.
Meditators may eat and sleep (dormitory-style) at the wat, and appropriate clothing is available for purchase next to the wat.
This is a popular wat for instruction, so calling in advance is requested.
