Located 1 km north of the northwestern corner of the old city, this school offers 5 and 10 day courses.
Classes tend to be large, and less individualized.
Lek Chaiya, 25 Ratchadamnoen Road, Chiang Mai. tel: (053) 278-325.
Located near the Tha Phae Gate in the eastern part of the old city, Lek teaches “nerve-touch” healing massage, and the use of healing herbs.
Old Medicine Hospital, 78/1 Wualai Road, Chiang Mai. tel: (053) 275-085. Located 1 km south of the old city, this venerated institution offers an 10 day course for 3500 baht.
Massages are available at 100 baht per hour.
