In general, you’ll find cooking classes to be far less expensive than cooking classes in Bangkok.

Here, you can stay in an authentic Thai village while you’re taking your course, allowing you a respite from the city.
The school itself is located 12 kilometers south of Chiangmai, on the Ban Tawai Road.

Located opposite the Tha Phae gate in central Chiang Mai, this school offers 1 ,2, and 3 day courses, focusing on introduction to Thai ingredients, food selection, and cooking, and you’ll receive a free cookbook.
This was the first cooking school in Chiang Mai, opening in 1993.
Prices start at 900 baht per day.

Prices start at 800 baht, and the complete two-day course is 1500 baht.
