Krabi and Ao Nang Beach
While the town of Krabi (pronounced gra-BEE) isn’t all that much in itself, the province of Krabi is a noted jumping-off point for wonderful scuba and snorkeling adventures.
And you’ll enjoy rock climbing on or kayaking near the towering Karst formations.
The little town of Ao Nang, 6 km to the west of Krabi city, is a quaint spot for staying, relaxing, and boating.
We recommend a boat trip to Ko Hong, a wonderful island with magnificent limestone structures and a small lagoon, perfect for kayaking, one hour away from Krabi.
And before you go, be sure to read the exciting review of Krabi’s diving and adventure options, written by PADI Instructor Peter ‘Oz’ Osborn, owner of Sea-Fa Diving.
