Ko Pha-Ngan is best-known as a backpackers’ paradise, with relatively inexpensive lodging, beautiful waterfalls, and Full Moon parties.
Here, you will still find secluded beaches, and the diving’s a bit less expensive than it is at Ko Samui, to the south.
The dive season runs between March and October, with visibility generally 10-25 meters, at depths of 15-40 meters, although many veteran divers prefer Ko Tao to the north.
