The word “dining” generally can’t be applied to the eating experience at airports, but there are a couple of “can’t misses” at Suvarnabhumi, each with a great view.

Skyloft, on level Six
Here, you’ve got a great view of the tarmac and the overall architecture of the airport.
Skyloft is accessible to all passengers, and at the restaurant, you buy a 500 or 1000 baht dining card (whatever isn’t used is refundable).
The décor is lovely, the food’s very good, and not extremely pricey, and the vibe is casual.
To get to Skyloft from the departure area on Level 4, go up the escalator found between ticketing rows D and E.

City Garden, on Level Two, Domestic area

City Garden is a restaurant that overlooks a wonderful landscaped area adjacent to the Domestic gate area.
It’s only accessible in the Domestic gate areas, and you’ll have to show a boarding pass to get through security.
Food is terrific, and the view is marvelous.
The food pass system used at Skyloft is in effect here as well.
To get to City Garden, go through the departure gate security point, and down the escalators to Level Two, which take you to departure gate areas A and B. Turn left at the point where the A gates go to the left, then make a hard left just after Boots Pharmacy to enter the restaurant.
