Most return visitors to Thailand would agree that learning a bit of Thai enhances their experiences, and allows them a more personal interaction with Thais.
There are dozens of schools offering Thai classes to those wishing to become either conversationalists or scholars.
Virtually every major university in Bangkok also offers Thai language courses, but curriculum appears to be geared toward individuals who are staying in Bangkok for 1-3 months.
